library CIP (: presley, bryant and i :D

HEYYO! :P

i'm back from 10 hours of library CIP with presley and bryant at marine parade community library:D agnes wanted to join us, but she was sick so in the end she didn't come. this was my first time spending such long hours at the library doing CIP, but it was fun too :D haha.

we met at 7 at paya lebar mrt and headed to macdonalds for breakfast. i didn't eat cos i ate at home before i left. after that, we cabbed to marine parade library instead of taking a bus from the mrt; i forgot the reason why though. reached there much earlier than sharifah, the person who is overall in charge of us for the day. yeah so we waited for her to let us in. it was around 7.55 at that time. today was also the first time i stepped into the library's office. yup, the office. haha, i bet you've never even been there or seen how it looks like :P it totally looks like some company layout and it was at the basement of the library.

for the first session, we had like 60 kids from ngee ann primary school. they're all primary ones and they're super small and cute! :D their teacher came along with them too, she was kinda fierce though, telling them not to do this and that and all. yeah :/ but the kids were responsive and interested :D haha, somehow seeing their smiles on their innocent faces never fail to make me happy :D

the second session had much lesser people cos the schools who signed up for the programme cancelled last minute. =x after the second session we walked to parkway parade's crystal jade for lunch. ate dimsum :D the food there was good (: laughed alot while picking on bryant's dining etiquette :P had to rush back to the library cos we're almost late for our session, but we made it just in time :D

had 2 more storytelling sessions after that. so in total we did 4 sessions :D after that, we had to tend to a booth wherby kids are allowed to wear a costume and take a photo of themselves wearing the costume. it was from 4.30 to 6. while we were waiting for people to cone to our booth, 2 CHIJ katong girls walked passed and asked us about AC's cut off point. i was quite surprised at first, didn't expect people to ask us about AC and AC life. :P they were like 'woah, ACJC leh. my dream school or something like that.' lol. so we continued talking to them. they asked me 2 bio mcq and presley 1 chem mcq. continued talking and socializing a while more before we left the library around 6.20. both azi and sharifah were being really nice and understanding! :D azi even bought us pastries and gave us drinks :/ and yeah, i can't help but keep thinking about how thoughtful she was; giving us food giving us oppotunities for CIP as and when ever they have vacancies. :D all of us had a total of 15 hours recorded today :D the last 3 hours was due to some last minute shortage of people required to mend the booth for photo taking.

Bryant and i walked to parkway parade and i waited for my parents to come, while presley's mum is coming to pick him up. my mum caught me by surprise by saying this:" you know your shirt behind got one smiley face or not?" i was like oh crap when i heard that. it turned out to be there since the first storyttelling first session. and now come to think of it, i've been walking around on the streets with that orange smiley face. super paiseh :/ presley you're still damn bad! you stuck it on my shirt and didn't remove it :(

haha but anyway, overall today's CIP was awesome :D loads of fun laughing at various things that happened, like the girl whose butt got stuck in the book's rack =x haha. had a great sense of achievement after being told that we would be granted 15 hours each :D

alright, it's time for me to sleep. i'm having a badly blocked nose and i hope i dont get a fever. :( hope i'll recover in time for OP!
